Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut

Champagne

This is the Signature cuvée of the House.  Round, vibrant and extremely well balanced, reflecting the rich variety of its blend of 100 crus from across the patchwork of Champagne vineyards.   It is a festive champagne, perfect for sharing and perfect for celebrating. A champagne to be enjoyed with friends, at a party or perhaps at a picnic along the water’s edge.

Tasting Notes

The Cuvée Brut takes us on a journey of almonds, fresh hazelnuts and fruits from the orchard, like freshly cut apples and pears. The wine also offers a smoky quality, almost toasted, which gives the impression of savouring a bite of freshly baked bread, just out of the oven. It is a precise wine, extremely well balanced, which offers plenty of finesse on the palate.

"2018 marks the first vintage that Emilien Boutillat took over as Chef de Cave. The NV Champagne Red Label sees 8 grams per liter dosage and three years aging prior to release. It is balanced with crisp fruits of peach, pastry, and toast and is dry and inviting, with green apple and fresh chalky texture. A wonderful aperitif, drink it 2022-2030."
