Having been born and raised in Colorado, you never really envision having a career in the wine industry.  It exists in California, France, Italy or Spain, but how could I be a part of that in Colorado?   Well, for me it started years ago with my first restaurant job at a Steakhouse in Denver.  It didn’t happen overnight with one ‘WOW’ wine, but gradually for me.  I gained an affinity for wine, especially for specific producers and their individual philosophies when it comes to winemaking.  That’s when I was hooked. After 7 years in restaurants/hospitality and having the pleasure of turning people toward wines they might never order on their own, I made the transition out of restaurants and into distribution.   Since 2002 I have worked for two different distributors: BDC Colorado (now Breakthru Beverage) and Pioneer Wine and Spirits of Colorado (formerly Winecru).  After spending 5 years at Breakthru as a sales rep and then moving on to Winecru, first as a sales rep and then as the On-Premise Sales Manager, I have been lucky enough to continue my career now with Folio Fine Wine Partners. Over the years I have been lucky enough to travel throughout Europe and see the slate driven soils of the Mosel, the limestone soils of Burgundy, and the sandy, river stone riddled soils of Toro in Spain.  To have the opportunity to see these places and meet the people that make the wine, it transforms the experience of drinking wine.  It’s not just liquid in a bottle, it’s a wine that tells a very personal story; a story made up of aromas and flavors, told about a specific place and time in history.  What could be better? The fact that I am the personal ambassador for our producers, representing their wines is a blessing.  A job this guy from Denver never could’ve dreamed up. My career in the wine industry began in Australia where I attended a graduate program in wine business at the University of Adelaide. I had never thought about a career in wine before my move to Australia, but touring the local wine regions gave me an introduction to a wonderful way of life. What I enjoy most about wine is that it is a global industry and reflects the land, history, food and traditions of where it is produced. After my studies, I stayed in Australia for a year working at Winestate Magazine and at various tasting rooms on the weekends. I moved to Napa in 2003 and have since made Northern California my new home. I have been fortunate to work in marketing and brand management at Golden State Vintners, Delicato Family Vineyards, Adler Fels and Domaine Chandon. My position at Folio Fine Wine Partners has been a wonderful opportunity to work with a dynamic and enthusiastic team on a portfolio of distinguished wines from all over the world. I grew up in the south New Jersey town of Point Pleasant. While attending the College of Charleston in South Carolina, I studied Anthropology, but spent my summers working in kitchens in Italian restaurants. I learned the important marriage of food and wine during this time and my developing passion for wine took me to the front of the house. The first time I had Emidio Pepe Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, I knew my career should be in the wine business. When I returned to New Jersey, I spent two years in the financial industry before becoming the wine director at a wine bar on a beach in NJ. I had the opportunity to join the Charmer Sunbelt group in 2011 and I spent over three years working key accounts in the on premise. Working for a distributor gave me the chance to travel to Champagne, Oregon, work crush in Napa Valley, and meet many interesting and knowledgeable people. I am thrilled to have joined Folio in April 2015 as the NJ Area Sales Manager and have the ability to focus my career selling some the best wines from the best quality people in the industry. Michael MondaviI established Folio Fine Wine Partners in 2004, with my wife, Isabel, and our children, Rob and Dina. With Folio, I’ve realized my vision of forming a company that imports and produces the most exciting quality wines from the world’s premiere and emerging wine regions, including Italy, Spain, Austria, New Zealand, Argentina and California. We also provide sales, marketing and public relations services to every wine brand we represent, so that the wines we believe in find their way onto the tables and into the hearts of American wine lovers. I have more than 40 years of wine industry experience. After co-founding Robert Mondavi Winery with my father, in 1966, I went on to serve as Vice President of Production responsible for winemaking, Vice President of Sales, President and CEO, and Chairman of the Board. Wine has been in my family for generations and I’ve always loved everything about wine – working with the vineyards, harvest time, blending and most of all, sharing a glass of wine with family and friends. My family has made wine across 4 continents and over 10 generations so I was fortunate to have grown up learning about all aspects of the wine business at a very young age.  Being French and Chilean and born in the Napa Valley, I also experienced the global side of the wine world and had the chance to work grape harvests in Australia and California, make wines in Argentina and Napa and market some of the most collectible wines from Burgundy and Champagne to Piedmont and Tuscany. I really enjoy working at Folio because of the family stewardship, focus on quality and authentic wines made by real families and the youthful and dynamic entrepreneurial culture. I currently live in the East Bay with my wife and 2 kids.  In my time off, I enjoy cycling, skiing, hiking and help coach my kids’ soccer teams. I joined the company with more than 30 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, 20 years of which in the telecommunications industry, 15+ years between clothing, water/fruit juice, pharmaceutical, wine producing/selling/delivery/warehousing, and the bank industry. I love to hang out with my family and go on vacations, camping, fishing, and watching movies. My parents, both avid wine enthusiasts, taught me an appreciation for the hard work of turning grapes into the nectar of the gods. My dad carried a love for the old world wines of France while my mother embraced the local pinot noir producers. Growing up, there was always a bottle of one or the other on the dining room table. Little did I know, this simple act of setting a bottle on the table was setting me on a path. It was a windy path, one that even left the mainland. It was while living and working on the beautiful island of Oahu, focusing on a career in mixology, I was reintroduced to the passion for wine that once filled my home.  After a few years of studying and saving, my path returned me to the mainland, and a few more twists and turns found me in the Napa Valley. I began my wine career in earnest at a small family owned and operated winery called Judd’s Hill, at the base of the Silverado Trail. After a handful of years, I worked my way up from Tasting Room Associate to Director of Hospitality. Along the way, I learned many lessons including my personal favorite, “Life’s too short for bad wine.” — a philosophy I stand by to this day. With over a decade of experience hosting guests in the Historical Napa Valley, I strive to give every guest a “white glove” customer experience. As Maya Angelou once said, “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” When I am not hard at work curating experiences for guests, you’ll find me procuring local produce from the Farmers Market to whip up a decadent meal to share with family and friends. Growing up in the Napa Valley, I didn’t realize how magical a place it truly is until my family moved to the Philippines while I was in high school. That opened my eyes to many aspects of life and how blessed I was to be born into my family here: not just in the USA, but in the Napa Valley. As the child of a civil servant and a teacher, I didn’t have the wine industry in my scope when choosing my career path. Albeit later than I would now have liked, how fortunate am I that I have finally found Folio Fine Wine Partners to entwine my accounting background with my hometown’s legendary harvest and the Mondavi Family? Not to mention, working with the entire Folio Team has been a rare treat! My career started in high school working for a CPA firm. I have also worked in a telemarketing firm, resort hotel, fire protection engineering firm, and hot air ballooning company (where I met my husband); finally landing in Folio’s Finance department – all that betwixt and between attending Cottey College, a small women’s college in Missouri operated by the PEO Sisterhood, and CSU Chico. Born & raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.  I moved to the great state of Colorado in 2004 by way of Charleston, South Carolina, where I lived for a few years after graduating from the College of Charleston and I've just come moved to Charleston. Since graduating from college, I’ve always been in sales.  I learned early on that if my career path was going to be in sales, I would have to be selling something in which I truly believed or enjoyed.  When I realized that people could actually make a living selling wine, l set my eyes on the wine business.  There are so many things that I truly love about wine & all that it encompasses. I was fortunate to get my start in craft beer business with Great Divide Brewing Company as the Colorado State Manager.  There is no better state than Colorado to have as a territory.  To this day, I never get tired of driving through the beautiful Rocky Mountains and talking to people about wine. In 2005 I was hired by Summit Distributing as the Downtown Denver Wine Sales Rep.  This is where I was introduced to Folio’s wines.   As a sales rep, Folio was my ‘go to’ portfolio. Every wine from Folio has history, a sense of place & adds relevance to a store or a wine list.  It was for this reason, on the distributor side of the business, that I really enjoyed working with the wines from Folio.   I worked as a distributor sales rep for 5 years.   In 2010, I was hired as On-Premise State Sales Manager for Treasury Wine Estates.  Shortly thereafter, in the fall of 2011, I came to work with Folio as the Southwest Area Sales Manager covering Colorado.  I am now cover North and South Carolina as the Market Sales Specialist.  I am so grateful to be working with such a wonderful collection of wines, families & to be a part of Folio as a whole. I’m from Busto Arsizio, Italy which is located just outside of Milan. After completing my studies at Hotel and Restaurant Management School in Ponte di Legno, I apprenticed at some of the best restaurants in Milan and Switzerland. Following my military service, I moved to London, England where I worked at the Connought Hotel as well as the Oak Room Restaurant, both Michelin Star restaurants. I spent some time in Puerto Banus, Spain where I opened three restaurants. In 1997, I applied for and received a management training visa at The Ryland Inn in Whitehouse Station, NJ, one of the best NJ restaurants and 4 stars by the NY Times. After completing my management training program in NJ, I moved to NYC where I worked under some of the most renowned chefs and wine directors in the US. My restaurant experience includes Le Cirque 2000, Babbo and Daniel. In 2002, I opened and became the Director of Fiamma Osteria.  Fiamma was the first Italian restaurant to receive a Michelin star. After serving 4 years as the Director of Fiamma, my passion for my family and wine culminated in a career change. I worked for two established importers, Cliquot Import and Henriot Import as the NY Market Manager before I had the exciting opportunity to work as NY Market Manager for Folio. I grew up in a rather small city about 15 miles northeast of Seattle, WA called Woodinville (now home to over 90 Wineries and Tasting Rooms). My love for wine and the industry started one summer in 1995 when I was on break from college and I worked at Chateau Ste Michelle Winery. I truly enjoyed learning about wine, the process involved in making wine, how wine was paired with food and the passion that all of the individuals shared. In 1998, I took a leap of faith and moved to Southern CA where I worked for Southern Wine & Spirits. I hit the jackpot. I had the best portfolio and represented some of the best wineries in the world, including Robert Mondavi Winery. From 2000-2004, I worked with the Robert Mondavi Company and met a few of my colleagues here at Folio while managing Southern CA regional sales. Michael Mondavi is known as the “quiet icon” among his friends and colleagues and is widely credited with helping to establish and build the Napa Valley wine industry as we know it. Raised at the Charles Krug winery in St Helena, Michael’s career began in 1966 when he and his father Robert co-founded the Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakville, Napa Valley. He served in many positions at the winery, including winemaker for the first eight harvests, including the celebrated 1974. From 1969 to 1978, Michael served as Vice President of Sales. He was named Managing Director and CEO in 1990 and, following the company’s public offering in 1994, was appointed President and CEO. He later served as Chairman from 2001 to 2004. In 1999, Michael, along with his wife Isabel and their two children, Rob, Jr. and Dina, purchased the Animo vineyard on Atlas Peak. This marked the first chapter of the Michael Mondavi Family Estate, creating a sustainable legacy to be passed down to the next generation. In 2004 they launched Folio Fine Wine Partners - a full-service wine importer and marketing agency that was born of Michael’s strong belief and vision that the best wines in the world would be produced by wineries that are family owned and family managed. Little did I know it would be the beginning to a great career in the wine industry. I’m a 4th generation Californian living in the Napa Valley. tyler turigliatto The moment that changed my career path was on my first visit to the famed wine regions of Napa and Sonoma. It was a relatively mild February afternoon, while the weather was cooler for Napa it still wasn’t as cold, or snowy, as the weather in my hometown of Chicago. Being out in the vineyards, only to see the trellis systems at stage of the vine cycle, was so exciting that I knew I wanted to specialize and focus solely on all things wine. That moment fueled my passion for wine. I made it my goal to learn as much as possible to be able to adapt and thrive in an ever-evolving and exciting industry. I have also been fortunate enough to travel and experience the renowned wine regions of Chile, Argentina, France, Austria, Italy and Spain, with many more to come. No matter which country’s vineyards I’m in, I still get the same excitement that I had on my first vineyard experience. Having previously been in the restaurant business, I often found myself wondering what it would be like to call restaurants as opposed to working in them. After college my curiosity turned into a reality. My first step into the wine industry was at Wirtz Beverage Illinois in the on premise arena selling their total portfolio. From there, I transitioned onto the dedicated wine team in the off premise channel. The next step in my journey has brought me here to Folio. I am still thrilled at the opportunity to work for such an outstanding company with such a wonderful group of people and being able to represent such excellent brands. Originally from southern California I moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington and never returned. My first wine sales job was with Cordon Selections, a local Seattle distributor, where I really honed my appreciation for great wine representing beautiful local wines as well as the portfolios of Weyghant Metzler, Becky Wasserman and Louis Dressner. Most recently I was the Sales Director at Cadence Winery, a highly acclaimed boutique winery based in Seattle with vineyards on Red Mountain. Representing Folio is the perfect next step in my career. In my experience there is a certain magic that comes from family-owned wineries. Having your hands in the day to day operations really translates to the glass. When I’m not working, I’m usually hanging with my husband Jeff, step-daughter Avarie and dog Roxi Rose. For the past fifteen years my experience in the wine industry has involved wine sales positions with various wine and spirit wholesalers in the Massachusetts, Metro New York and Atlanta markets. Although my roots and upbringing were in Massachusetts, in 2010 I made the decision to relocate to New York City and accepted a job with The Winebow Group where I spent five very productive and satisfying years forging strong relationships, furthering my wine knowledge and building a network. Despite my love of New York City, when my husband was given a professional opportunity in Atlanta we relocated. Transitioning from NYC and trying to navigate a new lifestyle and market was a challenge, but ultimately one I welcomed and learned from both professionally and personally. While in Atlanta I became a part of the On-Premise Key Account team for one of the largest distributors in the State, Georgia Crown, where I learned a tremendous amount about the South East market. Wanting to eventually start a family, we decided to move back to the northeast to be close to friends and family. Our family began in September 2018 with the birth of our daughter, Amelia Nadia. Originally from California, my wine career started in 1995 as a Sommelier/Wine Educator in Sacramento. I then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting, all the while making my real living in the restaurant business.  In 2002 I found my way to New York City by way of a girlfriend who is now my wife.  With that move I committed my professional career to the wine industry and left the entertainment world behind. My first sales rep job was with Paramount Brands/Eber Bros and then fairly quickly became a manager for Atlantic Wines and Spirits. I made the jump to the supplier side in 2006 working for Terlato Wine Group, then The Hess Collection in 2010.  Most recently, I was managing 9 states on the East Coast for Saintsbury Winery just prior to starting with Folio in February 2019. Along the way I have also been a professional photographer, horse trainer, expert skier, rock climber, dog trainer and general renaissance man stuck in a specialized world. I grew up on a small family farm in Eastern Iowa. I earned my undergrad in Institution Management and Dietetics at Iowa State. In 1991 my husband and I took a vacation to the California Wine Country and we both fell in love with the area. We ended up coming out to wine country several times a year for the wonderful weather, close-to-the-source food, and most importantly, excellent wines. Each time we came to visit, our itinerary would become ever more specific, as we learned more about the wine industry and its leaders. Eventually we planned all of our trips around wine discovery, traveling to Australia, New Zealand, Italy and other wine regions in the US. In 2008 we left the Midwest behind us and moved to Napa. We have seldom been happier. Growing up on a family farm I am fully aware of the difference in quality that personal involvement brings to the table. I am thrilled to be working with and for family owned operations that maintain that same philosophy of personal care to both their products and the longevity of the brand. I love this industry.  I love the people, the passion, the journey and most of all, I love the great experiences we share along the way. I first discovered this passion while working as a research assistant in a prominent Walnut Creek law firm. I vividly remember the passion with which the Senior Partners would discuss, wineries, vintages and winemakers and thinking, “any industry that inspires such passion is worth exploring.” And explore I did. First working in the restaurant industry while attending college in San Diego. Later exploring local food and wine cultures while working in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Phoenix before ultimately settling in San Diego as a Wine Director for an award winning Italian restaurant. 1999 brought further opportunities to explore as I embarked on a new journey with Young’s Market Company, an adventure spanning 18 years as an Estates Group Rep, a YMCo Wine Specialist, a National Account Manager and ultimately as a Vice President on the National Accounts Team. Founder and President of Winemaking

Rob Mondavi Jr.As the son of Michael and Isabel Mondavi, my enthusiasm for wine took root more than 30 years ago. I grew up in Napa Valley, and my earliest memories are of playing among the vines and barrels at Robert Mondavi Winery. Prior to and during my summer breaks from the University of Santa Clara, I held a variety of positions in our family's company to gain experience in all aspects of vineyard and winery management, hospitality and business operations. The first job I held was under Tony Coltrin our current Director of winemaking, whereby I followed him through the cellars, and learned all that a 12 year old could. I can remember being so small that it was a feat to turn the barrels so that we could wash them. Much later I even started my own business hosting mountain bike tours through the Napa Valley wine country. I graduated in 1994, with a degree in English Literature, and spent time at our Vichon winery where I made my first wines. Following I went to work in sales for Southern Wine & Spirits to learn more about the distributor side of the industry. I educated myself about international business culture by moving to Panama for a year and when I returned to Napa Valley, I decided to try my hand at importing. In 1996, I established the Napa Cigar Company, a manufacturer and importer of premium cigars from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and the Canary Islands. I joined the Robert Mondavi Corporation in 2000, as a luxury brands Sales Manager. Soon I became Sales Director, responsible for developing and managing sales of the company's imported wines from Australia, Chile and Italy in more than 20 states. I went on to serve as Director of Marketing for Robert Mondavi Winery, spearheading the winery's trade marketing initiatives. My family and I founded Folio Fine Wine Partners in 2004, with the vision of producing and importing the most exciting wines from established and emerging wine regions. I currently focus on the wine making and vineyards with Tony, and the management of the overall business. For seven years, Battegazzore held the role as General Manager of Luce della Vite in Tuscany - originally a joint venture between Tuscany’s Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi and Napa Valley’s Robert Mondavi Corporation until relocating to the US and joining Folio Fine Wine Partners in 2004 as Marketing Director. In 2013, Battegazzore was promoted to CEO and today leads a group of talented wine professionals in the development of wines from around the globe. Battegazzore offers an extensive knowledge of wine and food, a knowledge enhanced with advanced degrees in Agricultural Sciences as well as Food Science and Nutrition. Master Winemaker and Partner

Tony ColtrinTony Coltrin brings more than thirty five years of winemaking experience to his role at Folio Fine Wine Partners, where he makes wines for Oberon and Hangtime. As a child growing up in St. Helena, he worked and played in the vineyards. As he grew a little older, the grandfather of one of his closest friends took him under his wing and became his winemaking Mentor, it was this grandfather figure who suggested Tony work a harvest in a Winery so that they could share winemaking not only in the vineyard but in the winery also. He suggested Robert Mondavi Winery, since Tony had grown up around the Mondavi family, and they were doing some of the most cutting-edge and innovative winemaking in the world at that time. That was 1973…. Tony's interest in winemaking, fueled by the passion and excitement of Michael and Bob Mondavi turned one harvest into over 30 years with Robert Mondavi Winery. What began as dragging hoses and shoveling fermenters in the cellar, turned into Cellarmaster and then to Winemaker. When the company sold, Tony was asked by Michael Mondavi and his son Rob to join them in making the fine wines of Folio. When asked for his winemaking philosophy Tony replies thoughtfully: "I have grown over the years to believe that wine most truly is a reflection.... in my younger years I was taught that this reflection was of the soil, climate, and varieties and how they combine to produce such a wonderful marriage of aromas, colors, and tastes that weave so beautifully into the pleasure that is a glass of wine. I've grown lately to feel that wine is equally a reflection of the people.... of their willingness to allow each wine to become intimate, the care taken along the way, the passion offered up, this relflects in each wine as deeply as the grape. If the grapes are the heart of a wine.... the people are it's soul." Tony, his wife Sandra—an artist and pastry chef—and their son, Sam live in the western hills of the Napa Valley. When asked what inspires him he replies: " My very artistic mother who always encouraged my imagination, and taught me look for the possibilities and to create. She still inspires me, she's 82 now and is still teaching elementary school after 52 years. My wife who is the tall,slender, lovely reminder that my life is about balance and the one who let's me know when I need to find it. The whole Robert Mondavi family for the passion they've allowed me, creative license they've given me, and trust they have shown me for so many years. The grandfather of my friend who first mentored me in to winemaking. Most of all my son Sam who is 5 now and each day without fail makes me smile with my heart" says Tony. Chris MillichGrowing up with a chef father I had always been around good food. As I got older my tastes expanded, my interest in wine grew, but I didn't follow in my dad's footsteps. Having a more analytical and numbers oriented mind I ended up on a finance oriented career path, though one that allowed me to travel the world and still eat and drink in interesting places. Fast forward several years and I'm making wine at home, decide to move back to my home state of California and try to apply my financial skills to the wine industry (from airlines). I hit the street, hit the books, learn a lot about the wine industry and voila, a few years later I'm working with an iconic wine family's wine business. It's a fascinating industry...on the one hand farming, originally very basic but getting more technical every day, and on the other hand marketing brands of wonderful wines, lifestyles and competing with thousands of other wineries every day. So much to do, especially in this small but fast growing company. Born and raised in Maryland, I moved to the Golden State fifteen years ago, and after traveling to California’s world-renowned wine regions, I was bitten by the proverbial wine bug.  Starting as a hobby, wine quickly became a passion for me, so much so, that after a ten-year career with a dotcom in Los Angeles, I decided to head off in search of grapes and grip.   Determined to make wine my new career, and eager to learn about this complex business, I moved to New Zealand to begin my immersion in to this fascinating product and industry.  After helping Wine Marlborough manage and deliver the educational component of their annual wine and food festival, and after learning more about production while working a vintage for Framingham Wines, I headed to Napa Valley to further expand my wine business knowledge in the areas of direct-to-consumer sales and consumer and trade marketing. By way of background, I entered the wine industry after a three year stint at an advertising agency in Santa Barbara and a return to business school to obtain my MBA from Wake Forest University. Upon graduating, I decided I wanted to market a product that I was passionate about and with wine at the top of my list, I went to work for Paterno Wines International in Chicago. Several cold winters, but plenty of good pizza later, my wife Lisa and I decided to come back to the California sunshine in Napa Valley, where I joined Folio Fine Wine Partners. Besides wine, I have a lot of interest in small company start-ups, and working with the talented new team at Folio has been incredibly stimulating and a natural fit. My first experience selling wine was 187s at the sports bar where I worked while attending The Ohio State University for Hospitality Management. Needless to say, that wasn’t exactly where I fell in love. As I learned more about the hospitality wholesale industry, my interests were piqued and I was lucky enough to get a job out of school working for a wine distributor in my home and current town, Columbus, Ohio. As soon as I started learning more about and drinking good wine, I was hooked.  During my distributor position I always had an affinity for Folio as a company, truly believing in their values and wines represented and I am thrilled to now be a part of the family. I grew up in Central Florida and moved to Dallas to attend the University of North Texas. I waited tables in college and landed a job at a prestigious restaurant with a large wine program. I fell in love with wine quickly and became a bookworm for the subject. I worked my way up to wine buyer six months before graduation, and was struck with the opportunity for two internships: I had the option to follow my finance degree with an internship at a brokerage firm or follow my passion with an internship at Siduri Winery in Sonoma, California. I went for the Pinot, and haven’t regretted the decision for even a moment! After Siduri, I moved to Los Angeles to become the Wine Director for the Water Grill, which earned a Michelin star during my tenure. My first foray into the beverage business came as a beer buyer for a small retailer chain in MA.  While at the store I became smitten with wine and learned and tasted as much as I could.  I joined Palm Bay Imports as a Latin Portfolio manager in 2005, specializing in wines from Spain, Portugal, Chile & Argentina.  Travelling to those regions and seeing the viticulture firsthand really cemented my passion in the fine wine industry.  Palm Bay then promoted me into a Genesis Estates manager, focusing on their fine wine estates from Italy and beyond. Upon moving to New York in 2009, I had the pleasure of representing Martine Saunier and her wonderful French portfolio in New York City.  The exposure to both legendary wineries and the equally legendary restaurants and retailers buying them really expanded my perspective of the high-end wine business.  After a stint importing artisanal cachaça from my home country of Brazil  I joined August Wine Group, a Seattle-based boutique wine importer, in 2012 as a Northeast Regional Manager to help get some smaller but wonderful wineries the representation and respect they deserved from Maine down to Washington DC. Four generations of my family were born and raised in the Napa Valley; however, I am the first to work in the wine industry.  I began my professional career in real estate development with Rockefeller & Associates in San Francisco and after eight years my husband Bret and I made the decision to move back to Napa to raise our three children – Britney, Austin and Kendall.  In Napa, I began working in public relations when an informational interview at Robert Mondavi Winery led me to a 26-year career as Sales and Marketing Manager at Opus One. Growing up in the Napa Valley, I actually never envisioned a career in the wine industry. That changed, though, when I attended UC Davis and enrolled in my first class on wine. I was studying international trade, and decided to combine that with my interest in agriculture. Besides, my wish list of travel destinations could have stood in for a list of grape growing regions! Although I graduated with a degree in International Relations, I fit in as many viticulture and enology classes as I could, and spent the last 7 months of college studying abroad in Valparaíso and Santiago de Chile, where I continued that course of study hands-on for the first time. Back home and graduated, my goal was to work in a wine company that was involved in international ventures. What luck I then had beginning my career at Robert Mondavi, first in the export division, and then in imports working with partners in Italy, Chile, and Australia. Joining Folio was a natural fit, working with many people that I already admired. I am a London-born, LA-raised wine lover with a travel addiction. Wine has always been a big part of my life. I can remember running through the vineyards of Bordeaux as a small child, tasting wine for the first time as an inquisitive youngster, and learning from my parents as they collected bottles from around the world. During my college years at The University of San Francisco, the wine bug well and truly bit me hard. I would regularly make trips out to Napa and Sonoma and I became fascinated by the culture of wine and how it brings people, art, science history, geography, culture and family together. Upon graduation, I moved back to London, where regular trips to France, Italy and Spain further cemented my love for the grape. In 2013, after a four year stint in the music industry, I made a leap of faith and decided to turn my passion for wine into a career. It was a life-changing decision, and one that I haven’t regretted for a second. I currently hold the WSET Diploma in Wine and Spirits, and have my sights set on attainting the prestigious Master of Wine title. Prior to joining FFWP, I worked as Sommelier and Fine Wine Specialist at Wally’s Beverly Hills in Los Angeles. I was born and raised in the Central Valley of California, and little did I know I would end up learning so much more about all those grapevines my parents drove by while taking me to endless ballet classes. My first introduction to wine took place while working at RH Phillips Winery during my senior year at UC Davis. My college roommates loved it because I brought home open sample bottles of wine from the tasting room every weekend. That’s when my appreciation of how wine brings people together began. For the past 13 years I have been very fortunate to live and work in a city where food and wine are intricately woven into everyday culture. And while I call San Francisco my home, this dining destination city has been my classroom for wine for years, while working for American Wines & Spirits and Young’s Market Company. After graduating from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, I landed in of all places, Sarasota, FL, the retirement capital of the United States.  Needless to say, the early bird specials left much to be desired.  Fortunately, the blossoming wine scene in Sarasota opened my eyes to an amazing opportunity in wine sales. I began my wine career with a small South African wine importer and distributor, eventually transitioning onto the fine wine team with a large wine distributor.  After six years of distributor experience throughout the West Coast of Florida, I made a quick stop in Atlanta where I gained invaluable supplier experience, working directly for a California based winery group. Joining the Folio Fine Wine Partners family at the beginning of 2016 has been a true coming home experience for me.  Not only was I able to return to my native DC, I am proud to once again work with a company that represents such an iconic group of family owned wineries, many of which I sold, admired, and enjoyed while working for my Florida distributor. My passion for wine began while I was an undergraduate at the University of Alabama. I was waiting tables to pay my way through school and I had a table order a bottle of 1979 Chateau Margaux. Not only did they tip me well, they left me half a glass of wine. I was hooked after that experience and this led me to a career in the wine industry. I have spent the last fifteen years as a student of wine and the wine industry. I have worked for Morton's Steakhouse and Shula's on the Beach in Florida. I worked at Grand Vin, a wine bar in Key West, and for the last seven years I have spent time with distributors in both Florida and Alabama. A native of Sydney, Australia, I traveled to the US in 1997 for what was supposed to be a 6 month back-packing adventure.  Plans changed and now twenty years later, my journey continues with over 16 years’ experience in the wine industry. After several years owning and co-running a fine dining restaurant in Florida, I relocated to San Francisco in 2000 and began in a National Sales position with Old Bridge Cellars.  My 5 year tenure with Old Bridge Cellars allowed me the opportunity to immerse myself in the wine import, distribution and sales business and experience selling wine in most states throughout the US.  From this point, I was Western US Sales Manager for Negotiants USA, launched and managed the iconic Mollydooker, operated my own business importing and distributing NZ and Australian wines and was most recently California Sales Manager for Hall Wines from Napa Valley. Growing up in an Italian American family, wine has always been a part of my life. However, my true passion for wine was born during my travels through great wine growing regions – including California, Oregon, Italy, Spain, France and Germany – during my time in the Unites States Air Force. Upon my departure from active duty, I turned this interest into my career, starting out with a distributor, Romano Brothers Beverage Company in Chicago, performing multiple sales roles. After learning the business from the distributor side, I joined the Robert Mondavi Corporation in 1998. Within two years, I was promoted to the Illinois Area Manager. Later, I was awarded the 2002 Robert G. Mondavi Award of Excellence by Robert Mondavi himself. In 2003, I was tasked to become one of the directors of a new division within Robert Mondavi, where I helped to develop new wines from brand concept to final label. Following the sale of the Robert Mondavi Corporation in January 2005, I left Robert Mondavi to join in business once again with Robert's eldest son, Michael Mondavi. Since entering the wine business I have had the opportunity to return several times to all those great wine growing regions I visited in the Air Force and my passion for fine wines has grown. I have received extensive training and wine education and I enjoy discussing the great wines of the world with wine lovers. When the opportunity arose for me to continue working with the Michael Mondavi family – I jumped at the chance. Since the day I started with Folio Fine Wine Partners in 2005 every day has been challenging and rewarding, no day is the same. My job at Folio is not like most Associate Brand Manager positions. I do support brands but I also maintain the websites, coordinate corporate image material, maintain content on our intranet site, support sales requests and provide direct support for our National Accounts and Chain Account managers. My passion for wine began nearly 13 years ago when I had the privilege to work as a marketing beverage director for Black Angus Steakhouse. As a buyer, I worked with the major suppliers from wine, spirits and beer. Although each category came with its own set of dynamics, it was wine that most intrigued me for its delicate, complex, yet approachable flavor and texture. After nearly 10 years on the "buyer" side, it was time to cross over to the supplier side to pursue my love for wine even more. I joined Constellation Wines U.S. in 2005 as a brand manager and took on a new understanding of wine marketing, including harvest production. I certainly gained a new perspective of all of the hard work and challenges that go on behind a brand to make it to the retailer and customer. Raised in the premium wine region of McLaren Vale, South Australia, Rebecca was always surrounded with grapes and took her first role with Wirra Wirra vineyards in McLaren Vale while completing her Bachelor of Wine Marketing at Adelaide University. In 1996, Rebecca was the inaugural Student Winner of the "Vin de Champagne Award" awarded by the Champagne region's governing body, and in 2003 was presented a "Ordre de Coteaux de Champagne" for her services to the region and wines of Champagne. Rebecca relocated to the US in 2007 with Constellation Brands to develop and lead the Brand Communications and Events team for Constellation Wines, before returning to family winemaking, and Folio, in 2012. My passion for wine started while living in France and seeing the way wine brought people together. This led me to seek out a career in wine in Bordeaux, France where I experienced production first hand. I enjoyed an exciting public relations position representing the prestigious AXA millesimes group at Chateau Cantenac Brown, Grand Cru Classe, in Margaux. Wanting a more sales oriented approach, I joined the Gallo Europe team, working in France to expand their import division in the Rhone Alpes area. With a great sales training under my belt, I decided to move back to the US and use the skills I learned back home in Atlanta, GA. I never thought I would be working for an Icon in the Wine Industry (Michael Mondavi), growing up in the small old steel town area of Youngstown, OH. I always had a passion for working in the hospitality industry, from the food, to fast paced gratification & meeting/making new friends daily. This passion (and the urge for sunshine) is what lead me to transfer from The Ohio State University down to the University of Central Florida, where I graduated from the Rosen School of Hospitality Management. After getting my degree, I quickly worked my way through the management ladder in restaurants and hotels (Rainforest Café, Rosen Hotels & Cheesecake Factory). Until I became a GM at Pescara in Rochester, MN at the age of 27. This is where I really started to learn and gain a passion for quality wine. I eventually made my way back to the sunshine state, where a chance encounter allowed me the opportunity to accept a wine sales position for Premier Beverage handling the Convention Hotel/Catering territory in Orlando, FL. After 4 years of learning and honing my skillset, I eventually was able to then take on the responsibility of handling Walt Disney World for Breakthru Beverage. I was born and raised in a little town in the Appennini mountains nearby Parma. Growing up on a farm with animals and just surrounded by nature was the best! Raw milk and fresh eggs every morning directly from our animals, fresh vegetable from the garden, wild fruits, berries, mushrooms and truffles from the nearby meadows and forests. This type of childhood definitely made a big impact on me as a person and also on my palate. Today as then, I still like to explore the world in search of new flavors and to get the best that nature can offer, wine is definitely one of these things! My first memories related to wine are also related to my childhood, when I was helping my grandfather bottling. He used to drive to Piemonte and buy demijohns of his favorites Barbera and Dolcetto. Once home he used to bottle the wine himself and I was in charge of the corks. The smell and the taste of those wines in the family cellar are still vivid in my memory. I moved to the nearby city of Parma to continue my studies and there I got to discover the fascinating world of hospitality and fine dining. There was the time when my love for wines & spirits begun. I enjoyed bartending and working in restaurants during my college time. Even prior graduating from college I became partner in the wine bar where I was working, and once I got my master degree in business administration and economics I opened and ran two more restaurants. It was a great and successful experience.In 2007 I sold my business and I moved to New York City. Once here I got the opportunity to work as Brand Ambassador Sambuca Molinari. During that period I developed the passion for sales and distribution of wine & spirits. This business is interesting and exciting, and it attracts fascinating, passionate people. Ten years after and with few different experiences working for suppliers and distributors I’m still in love with this industry. I was born in Mexico, but moved to Santa Rosa to reunite with my family when I was 11 years old, since then California has been my home. I did not speak the language and struggled the first couple of years; I was used to being an A+ student back home and I was far from it at this time, but this only encouraged me to keep trying and overcome  all those difficulties. I was the first one in my family who made it to college. I  majored in Psychology and Child Development.   While going to school I started working part-time for Biagi (Wine Warehousing Business) to help pay for my books and school expenses; it was there that I fell in love with the wine industry and customer service. After graduating, Biagi offered me a full time position that I took.  Throughout the years I handled different positions; one of those was Customer Service Representative which led me to being Folio’s direct contact for their account at Biagi for 4 years. My love of wine started over a decade ago when I started working at a little wine bar in Tucson Arizona. From there I moved to Napa Valley where I had the good fortune of being immersed in the wine industry and lived for six years. In Napa, I worked for a family-owned importing company in both marketing and sales. My career in wine began in 2014. After a twenty-year career as a documentary film and television writer and director, my passion for the wine industry took a hold of me and hasn’t let go. I began as a tasting room staff member at a small winery in Lodi, CA. I then worked the 2015 production year as a winemaker’s assistant producing nearly 5000 cases of Rhônes, blends and Zinfandels. After “learning the ropes”, I quickly realized that my calling was marketing and direct to consumer outreach; bringing wines to the marketplace. I first began my career in the wine business as a Legal Secretary in the San Francisco corporate office for the Robert Mondavi Winery for the company's in-house general counsel. Over the years, I was the Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer and later on to the Sr. Vice President of Marketing. I was honored and excited to be asked to join the Folio Fine Wine Partners team in 2005 and continue to work with the best people in the wine industry. I also have the privilege, for a second time (first at Robert Mondavi Winery) to give my first-hand assistance to David Francke, our Managing Director at Folio.  I enjoy that I have the opportunity to work in so many aspects of Folio, giving my assistance to many of the departments as needed. I live in Napa with my boyfriend, Scott, and my two teenage daughters, Tayler and Kylee. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Market Sales Manager, Texas and Partner

I grew up in the Dallas area and moved to New York to attend The Culinary Institute of America. Upon the completion of my Associates Degree, I spent almost a year training in a kitchen in France, where I realized that I was becoming more and more passionate about wine. Once back in New York, I started to make wine at Millbrook winery while I finished my degree. Then after a brief stay in London to gain my Advanced Certificate in Wine and Spirts from WSET, I got the opportunity to join the Williams Selyem winemaking team in the Russian River Valley in Sonoma, California. While there I learned the ins and outs of making high end Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. After Williams Selyem, I moved back to Dallas. While there I accepted a job with Republic National Distributing Company getting the opportunity to learn about the distribution side of the wine industry. After working as a Fine Wine Specialist with RNDC, I jumped at the opportunity to join Folio Fine Wine Partners in March 2017 as a Market Manager for the state of Texas. In my free time I am currently studying with the Wine and Spirt Education Trust to take the Diploma exam in order to move on to the Master of Wine course. I love spending time with my friends and family and jumping out of airplanes as a certified skydiver! Lucky to relocate and make the move to the wine country, it was time to look to my next career move—my “second act” to put it and to capitalize on my love of people, the wine country and the vines. I have been working in the wine industry for 8 years, since graduating with a degree in enology and winemaking from the University of Mendoza. Being born and raised in the beautiful wine region of Argentina gave me the passion to work with wine as I was surrounded by it every day. I started my career as the enologist for Bodega Foster in Lujan de Cuyo and moved up to the position of quality control manager. Later, I decided to seek a new challenge and became the winemaker for Rio Dulce S.A. in Barrancas Maipu, Mendoza. Prior to coming to Napa I moved to Chile to work for Vina Luis Felipe Edwards in Colchagua Valley, Chile. Working in this industry gives me the opportunity to meet passionate people from all over the world to share knowledge, fun and laughter, while increasing my vision and philosophy of wine. Wine gathers us all, making us happy and giving us the possibility of creation. I am excited to be working with the Mondavi family, one of the most prestigious families in the wine industry. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a passionate team of people who, every day, put their hearts and minds into crafting the best wines possible. Raised in the premium wine region of McLaren Vale, South Australia, and a graduate of Wine Business from University of Adelaide, I spent 15 years in the Australian wine industry in various sales, marketing, distribution and communication roles before joining Hardy Wine Company (now Constellation Brands) in 2001 and relocating to San Francisco in 2007. At Constellation Wines I helped develop and lead the largest in-house brand communications and event marketing team in the US wine business, overseeing the US wine portfolio. Here I led brand publicity programming and event marketing, leveraging strategic relationships across wine, culinary, luxury and lifestyle media. In 2012, I returned to family winemaking, joining national importer Folio Fine Wine Partners – a full-service sales, marketing and communications agency owned by the Michael Mondavi Family as Vice President of Communications. The inaugural Australian Student Winner of the "Vin de Champagne Award" – given by the Champagne region's governing body, I have moderated and presented numerous wine Industry speaker panels in the US, Australia and Europe. A guest speaker at Sonoma State University, and University of Bologna, my work has been published in SevenFiftyDaily, Meininger’s Wine Business International magazine and Wine Business Monthly (AU). I am a 10+ year student of yoga and meditation, with a focus on breath work as a means to manage anxiety, stress, and as a tool to aid clearer communication. I resides in San Francisco and can often be found with yoga mat in hand. Today, we are an importer, fine wine agency and producer of quality wines. We manage a diverse portfolio that spans 6 countries, 3 continents and every premium price point, and we’re fortunate to work with family wineries who share our passion for making great wine. Wine has been our family business for 4 generations. It began with Cesare Mondavi, an Italian immigrant, who established a grape growing business in Lodi, California during Prohibition. Our Napa Valley roots were established in 1943 when the family purchased the historic Charles Krug winery. Cesare’s son, Robert, later started his own winery with Michael, his eldest son. Robert Mondavi Winery helped establish California as the premier winegrowing region it is today.
