In the mouth, it's medium-bodied and silky but lacking the richness of the preceding vintage. However, it shows fine delineation and purity. Drink it young."

A good value (it’s often in the market for less than the list price), it has ripe darker cherry and peppery, bouquet garni-like notes in a medium to full-bodied, ripe, balanced, supple style that’s a joy to drink. It’s not going to make old bones, but it will shine on the dinner table over the coming couple of years."
