"A classic Bordeaux blend supplemented by 14% Syrah, this companion brings large amounts of blackberries, coriander and sandalwood spice to the aromatic table. The tannins are sturdy enough to support jammy black cherry and dark plum fruit flavors that are supplemented by cedar and thyme."

"This is a blend of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 14% Syrah, 3% Petite Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Malbec from Washington State. Deep garnet in color, mostly opaque and bright. The nose is nice; dusty with black raspberries, plums, spice, slight black cherries and a hint of vanilla. Soft texture with medium tannins. On the palate, black raspberries, cassis with underlying spice and slight char. Long finish. This is an easy drinking red that has some backbone and depth. Drink over the next five to seven years. Very nice on its own, this will work great with a brisket out of the smoker."

"Editor's Choice. This is a blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 17% Syrah aged in a mix of French and American oak (about 10% new). With fruit coming from across the Wahluke Slope, aromas of violet, green herb, coffee, rose, raspberry and black cherry are followed by plump flower and plum flavors that show a lot of layering. There's plenty of juicy structure behind it all."

"...the wines are delicious. Luke specializes in deep, savory reds from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. The Companion red blend combines all three, with Cabernet taking the leading role. Expect dark fruit flavors such as blackberry and plum, sprinkled with coffee dust. The Syrah gives the wine a rugged sensibility with grippy tannins carrying the finish..."

"Editors' Choice. This is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and equal parts Merlot and Syrah. Plum, raspberry, chocolate and cherry aromas lead to an explosion of blue- and red-fruit flavors on the palate. There is dazzling freshness, a spot-on sense of balance and plenty of acid and tannin structure."

"Bright dark red. Complex if laid-back aromas of dark raspberry, mocha, espresso, spices, licorice, fresh herbs and menthol. At once supple, fine-grained and alive, with its raspberry and brown spice flavors conveying a restrained sweetness and carrying well through a ripely tannic, dusty finish. Nicely balanced from the outset, with the savory Syrah component quite apparent in the early going."

"Editor's Choice. This is a new offering from the winery. With this blend of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, the aromas intrigue, with notes of graphite, cherry, raspberry, flower and spice. The palate brings a sense of sophistication and intensity. Firm tannins back it up. It's a lot of wine for the money."
