Tasting Notes

This Malbec stands out for its purity, a consequence of being produced with organic techniques and low intervention. Notes of red fruits −especially raspberries− stand out in the nose, while the palate is medium-bodied, with a pleasant finish and very round tannins, which are the contribution of the clay soils of Agrelo.

Roasted meats and/or game meats.

Destemmed. Fermented in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts at 24º-26°C (75°-79ºF). Total maceration of 20 days. One daily pump-over. Aged seven months in stainless steel tanks. No oak.

    "There is a new wine made with certified organic grapes from their vineyard in Agrelo, the first vintage of which is the 2022 Crios Sustentia Malbec Orgánico. It's a lighter expression of the place, with good freshness and also ripeness and development of aromas and flavors, with the textbook violets and black fruit, herbs and spice, although it's bottled completely unoaked. It's juicy and soft, with round tannins and a velvety texture. 40,800 bottles produced. It was bottled unoaked in October 2022"
