Bibi Graetz Casamatta Rosso

Toscana IGT, Tuscany

In Italian, Casamatta translates to "crazy house". This moniker, self-designated by super-Tuscan winemaker, Bibi Graetz, is an homage to his very home-cum-winery-cum-art gallery. This fantastic place serves as home, winery, and art studio complete with kids, farm animals, barrels, grapes, and colorfully painted canvasses. Hence, Casamatta is a place where chaos meets life in a place where love of family, love of winemaking, and love of art all take place. It is here, where Bibi artfully crafts his Casamatta wines.

While the literal translation of Casamatta is "crazy house", the wines in this line, produced by artistic winemaker, Bibi Graetz, are certainly far from crazy. In fact, they are approachable and ready-to-drink now. Casamatta is the place where chaos meets fun, love, and creativity and is the place where Bibi lives and pursues his passion for creating these wines including this full-bodied yet easy-to-drink Toscana Rosso.
