I never thought I would be working for an Icon in the Wine Industry (Michael Mondavi), growing up in the small old steel town area of Youngstown, OH. I always had a passion for working in the hospitality industry, from the food, to fast paced gratification & meeting/making new friends daily. This passion (and the urge for sunshine) is what lead me to transfer from The Ohio State University down to the University of Central Florida, where I graduated from the Rosen School of Hospitality Management.

After getting my degree, I quickly worked my way through the management ladder in restaurants and hotels (Rainforest Café, Rosen Hotels & Cheesecake Factory). Until I became a GM at Pescara in Rochester, MN at the age of 27. This is where I really started to learn and gain a passion for quality wine. I eventually made my way back to the sunshine state, where a chance encounter allowed me the opportunity to accept a wine sales position for Premier Beverage handling the Convention Hotel/Catering territory in Orlando, FL. After 4 years of learning and honing my skillset, I eventually was able to then take on the responsibility of handling Walt Disney World for Breakthru Beverage. The 6 years of distributor experience is what lead me to where I am today, working for Folio Fine Wine Partners and the Mondavi Family. My passion for not only wine, but food, beer, spirits and everything hospitality has allowed me to travel the world and create some of the best memories that I will never forget.

When I’m not learning and spreading my passion of all things wine & hospitality, you can find me playing “footie” with some of my best mates for the greatest 6 a side team ever! Beercelona! #3! You can join the fanclub on FB and won’t be disappointed. I’m always working on my golf handicap as well here in Florida with year round beautiful weather. And I’m always cheering on my favorite teams! Go Pens, Pirates, Steelers, Magic, OCSC and of course BUCKEYES! Of course most of this free time will be going away soon with the arrival of Baby Squibbs, due Sept Harvest time 2017!
