I was born and raised in the Central Valley of California, and little did I know I would end up learning so much more about all those grapevines my parents drove by while taking me to endless ballet classes.

My first introduction to wine took place while working at RH Phillips Winery during my senior year at UC Davis. My college roommates loved it because I brought home open sample bottles of wine from the tasting room every weekend. That’s when my appreciation of how wine brings people together began.

For the past 13 years I have been very fortunate to live and work in a city where food and wine are intricately woven into everyday culture. And while I call San Francisco my home, this dining destination city has been my classroom for wine for years, while working for American Wines & Spirits and Young’s Market Company. Whether enjoying international comfort food or Michelin-starred fine dining, I’ve learned that there is a special bottle of wine that can make every meal more memorable.

I am very excited and grateful I can continue to share, sell and savor the wines of Folio Fine Wine Partners.

When I am not taking in the culinary landscape of California, I am staying active: from skiing, cycling or running to yoga or just spending time with family and friends.

But, my favorite past-time is to be “Fun Aunti Ni” to my niece Charlotte and nephew Brennan. Our days together always involve “crazy yoga” and ice cream.
