Allegra Macedo

Born and raised just an hour north of Napa Valley in the small, remote town of Lake County—a hidden gem in California’s wine country—I’ve always felt a deep connection to the land and its bounty. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Chico State University, and built a career in retail and hospitality before discovering my true passion: wine.

That spark ignited in 2021 while working at a small family winery tasting room in Calistoga. From there, my curiosity and love for the industry blossomed. I began spending my free time exploring Napa Valley’s renowned wineries, immersing myself in its culture of wine and food, and pursuing deeper knowledge through the Napa Valley Wine Academy, where I began studying for my WSET Level 3 Certification in Wine.

In 2023, I joined Folio Fine Wine Partners—a role that perfectly blends my background, passion, and desire to grow in the world of wine. Today, I continue to explore wines from around the globe, while enjoying time outdoors hiking, camping, and cooking with my partner Joey and our dog Jax.
