Being born and raised in Sonoma County, the wine industry always seemed to be the talk of the town. While my journey into this industry was quick, it was one decision that I didn’t regret. I graduated from Sonoma State University in 2018 with my Bachelor’s in Financial Management, with no idea what I was going to do with it. I first started out my Accounting career at a light manufacturing company based out of Sonoma for almost 2 years. While I learned and experienced a lot in those years, I was craving the next big challenge. That’s where I began to work for a wine company in Napa, and I knew that Accounting in the wine industry was the right fit for me. I’ve become drawn to the complexity and learning about all the moving parts that related to Accounting in the wine industry. I’ve just started my journey here at Folio in May 2021 and so far, I can feel the passion and drive from all the people working here. There’s excitement and curiosity in the air, that makes you want to be a part of it all. I’m very excited to be a part of this company’s growth and exciting future!
