2021 Dutton-Goldfield Fox Den Vineyard Pinot Noir
James Molesworth, Wine Spectator, March 2024
“This is stylish and seductive, with singed red tea and alder hints leading off, followed by notes of warmed cherry compote and blackberry reduction. A subtle sanguine echo through the finish adds a nice counterpoint. Drink now through 2030. ”

2022 Laurenz V. Friendly Grüner Veltliner
Anne Krebiehl, Vinous, June 2024
“The 2022 Grüner Veltliner Friendly is picked in the village of Langenlois and made in stainless steel only. Gentle miso and yeast savor join the green pear peel on the nose. The palate cuts in with beautifully strait-laced freshness that underlines a superb white pepper vibe that stays and stays. The 2022 is slender and expressive. (Bone-dry)”

2021 Laurenz V. Charming Grüner Veltliner
Anne Krebiehl, Vinous, June 2024
“The 2021 Grüner Veltliner Charming Reserve, from grapes grown across Kamptal and vinified in stainless steel, has the slightest note of blossom honey on its shy nose. The palate is concentrated and has let go of its youthful fruit. It provides a sleek sense of concentration and linearity. The 2021 is elegant, poised, fresh and beautifully pervasive, with a lasting finish. (Bone-dry)”

2021 Laurenz V. Charming Grüner Veltliner
July 2024
“Austria's Kapmtal region in is dedicated to two varieties, Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. This winery only focuses on Grüner — showcasing different climatic, geographical, and winemaking styles. This bottle is a blend of several distinct vineyard sites and welcomes you with bright pear and white pepper notes. It's grippy on the palate with some great acidity and depth from some time aging on the lees.”

2022 Laurenz V. Friendly Grüner Veltliner
Jonathan Cristaldi, Tasting Panel, July 2024
“From vineyards near the town of Langenlois, this wine shows fragrant notes of yellow apple, flinty minerals, and vanilla. The fleshy midpalate is balanced by zippy acidity and notes of melon, apricot, and peach.”

2021 M. Chapoutier Les Meysonniers Rouge
Joe Czerwinski, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, May 2024
“As usual, this bottling shows more substance than the la Petite Ruche. The 2021 Crozes Hermitage les Meysonniers delivers peppery spice and ripe cherries and blueberries in a medium-bodied format. Silky, pure and elegant, it finishes long, with a slightly tart edge.”

2022 M. Chapoutier La Bernardine Blanc
Joe Czerwinski, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, May 2024
“The 2022 Chateauneuf du Pape la Bernardine Blanc—tasted as a tank sample in the summer of 2023—boasts attractive aromas of clover honey, fresh limes, white peaches and crushed stone. Only medium to full-bodied, I'd prefer to see a bit more richness in this wine, but it's clean, crisp and nicely balanced. This vintage is about 80% Clairette from Croix de Bois and 20% Grenache Blanc from the other (western) side of the appellation, all fermented and matured in demi-muids, 15% new.”
