2023 Donnafugata Rosa Dolce&Gabbana
Danielle Callegari, Wine Enthusiast, December 2024
“The nose has savory aromas of tarragon, seashells and potting soil, but also the sweetness of ultraripe cherry tomatoes and delicate citrus blossoms. The palate is cohesive, with more earth and brine, and then sweet, mature apricots and wild strawberries.”

2023 Donnafugata Rosa Dolce&Gabbana
Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2024
“Wonderfully spicy, the 2023 Rosa is a pretty pale pink color with a bouquet of lime-infused green apples and hints of confectionery spice. It opens with a pretty inner sweetness that gives way to vivid white pear and zests of orange. A core of vibrant acidity maintains fantastic energy within. This cleans up beautifully, crisp and refreshing with a salty flourish—a fantastic rendition of Donnafugata's Rosa, despite the difficulties of the vintage.”

2023 Donnafugata Anthìlia
Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2024
“The 2023 Anthìlia is remarkably pretty, blending white flowers, freshly sliced pears and hints of wet stone. This is silky-smooth with nearly oily textures, offset by a twang of sour citrus and crunchy orchard fruit. The finish is perfumed and crisply refreshing, wrapping things up with a lime and mineral tinge that calls the taster back to the glass.”

2022 Donnafugata Anthìlia
Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2023
“The 2022 Anthìlia is airy and floral, with sweet smoke and crushed stones giving way to young peach. It's silky-smooth, more textural than expected, with lime-tinged orchard fruits and sour melon that add a lovely inner tension. The 2022 tapers off crisply refreshing with medium length and tropical citrus notes. Anthìlia is primarily produced using Catarratto and a small number of interplanted white varieties.”

“Lemon, lime and yellow and green apple aromas meet tennis ball and turf on the nose, and the palate keeps the citrus but points up nutty and saline notes with a bright acidity.”

2022 Donnafugata Anthìlia
Tom Hyland, Italian Wine Report, March 2023
“Primarily Cataratto (aka Lucido) blend with other indigenous varities. Bright, medium deep yellow; aromas of papaya, melon and honeysuckle - really lovely! Medium-bodied, there is impressive texture, lively acidity and very good persistence. This is quite delicious and a true crowd pleaser, with its beautiful freshness. Enjoy over the next 2-3 years as an apertif or paired with sweet and sour pork.”

2022 Donnafugata Bell'Assai
Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2024
“The 2022 Frappato Vittoria Bell'Assai wafts up with purity, displaying an array of violets, lavender, crushed blackberries and a complicating whiff of dusty earth. Round and juicy in style, it possesses cooling acidity and crisp wild berry fruits that cascade throughout. The 2022 finishes wickedly fresh and with medium length, leaving a pleasantly crunchy, mouthwatering sensation behind on the close. The Bell'Assai would make an excellent pairing for a wide variety of cuisine.”

The palate is ripe and inviting, with a rounded and pillowing mousse and a soft juicy texture. It offers a generous feel and a delicate warmth on the finish. It is drinking well out of the gate and offers more immediate appeal for drinking over the coming 4-6 years.”
