2020 Bibi Graetz Colore Rosso

Christy Canterbury, New Wine Review,

“Wow - this is sumptuously pure, ripe and delicious. It is a show stopper! This tastes of sweet cherries, baked strawberries in a cobbler and raspberry preserves. The tannins have some lightly nudging dryness that is readily absorbed by the electric, concentrated fruit core. The acidity is vigorous and refreshing. Full-bodied with seamless structure, this will easily age well. (Aged in old barriques for 20 months.)”

2015 Tinto Pesquera Millenium Reserva

Mike DeSimone, Wine Enthusiast, May 2023

“This inky garnet-colored wine has a nose of black currant and cocoa powder, with a hint of summer farm stand. Plush tannins and flavors of black cherry, blackberry, mocha, menthol and a tiny touch of saddle leather ply the tongue and gums and linger there for a small eternity”

2021 Luke Columbia Valley Chardonnay

Eric Guido, Vinous, March 2023

“The 2021 Chardonnay is more savory than sweet in the best possible way, as flinty crushed rocks give way to dried peaches and apricots. It soothes with its silken textures and ripe orchard fruits, coming across as seamless as mineral-tinged with juicy acidity adding further contrast toward the close. This tapers off remarkably fresh, buzzing with residual tension and energy as a note of floral-laced peach lingers on. This is a total pleasure to taste.”

2018 BenMarco Cabernet Sauvignon

Ken Hoggins, Ken's Wine Guide, July 2023

“This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Susana Balbo opens with a blackberry and black cherry bouquet with hints of dark chocolate and black currant. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh and savory. The flavor profile is a black cherry and black currant blend with notes of oak, black tea and loam. I also detected hints of clove, cinnamon, and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins drift away nicely. This Cab would pair well with your favorite steak and black bean burrito recipe. Enjoy.”

2021 Donnafugata Bell'Assai

Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, May 2023

“The 2021 Sicilia Vittoria Frappato Bell'Assai can be categorized as one of these new contemporary wines that are fresh, brilliant, tonic and easy to drink. The Frappato grape shows a lot of energy and freshness over a lean-bodied texture. Cherry and cassis appear on the bouquet, along with green olive and caper flower. This unoaked wine ends on a fresh note. Production is 65,000 bottles.”

2019 Isole e Olena 'Cepparello' Toscana IGT

Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, February 2023

“One of the icon wines of Tuscany, the Isole e Olena 2019 Cepparello is all Sangiovese crafted by the loving hands of a winemaking legend, the great Paolo De Marchi (who finalized the sale of his beloved estate when this wine hit the market). Indeed, this wine opens a discussion on the future of this celebrated IGT Toscana, a wine that followed a strict vision and style under De Marchi. It is elegant and rich with fine aromas of black and purple fruit. It ferments in oak and ages in French barrique for 20 months, with one-third new oak. With 58,000 bottles released, this is a sure candidate for long cellar aging.”
