2012 Rare Millésimé Brut
Audrey Frick, Wine Spectator, September 2024
“A graceful Champagne that waltzes across the palate, with a fine, plush mousse carrying a lovely range of ripe black cherry, pureed raspberry, candied ginger, Mandarin orange peel, grilled nut and pastry flavors enlivened by a vibrant spine of lemony acidity. To a certain extent, the precision and elegance belies the focus and breadth on display, so sip this slowly and enjoy as it opens in the glass and expands on the palate, echoing on the finish. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Drink now through 2040”

2012 Rare Millésimé Brut
Audrey Frick, Jeb Dunnuck, December 2024
“Golden yellow-hued, the 2012 Champagne Millésime has notes of pineapple, brûléed citrus, honeyed ginger, and lemon curd. Round and full, it offers a pillowy mousse with a long finish. It has more ripeness than the 2013 but has fantastic underlying tension and acidity. It’s deceiving, as it is quite approachable now but also has the bones to age over the coming decades.”
Best of Show
2012 Rare Millésimé Brut
Decanter, June 2025
“97 points. We haven’t featured three Champagnes for our Top 50 Best In Show in recent years (though this was the case in both our 2019 and 2020 DWWA competitions), but this blend of 70 per cent Chardonnay and 30 per cent Pinot Noir proved as hard to ignore as its two peers. The 2012 vintage pattern differed from those of 2008 or 2014 – but still demanded both patience and fortitude. April frosts were cruel this year, and for those whose vineyards jumped that hurdle, the cold spring weather that followed was unencouraging. Late summer, though was very dry, and just warm enough to create the nervy ripeness blenders love. You can almost smell that tension in the aromatic restraint of this Champagne, but keep looking and you’ll find much to relish, too, including flowers from the Chardonnay and root spice from the Pinot. Age mingles the two seamlessly. Once in the mouth, this is a Champagne of structure and proportion, and it’s here, too, that you can see the skill and restraint with which all the elements have been chamfered and jointed into place.”

2013 Rare Millésimé Brut
International Wine Challenge, May 2025
“Vintage Classic Blend Champagne Trophy. A seamless blend of Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir from an understated vintage, this has now come into its own. Salty, mineral and moreish with brioche and hazelnut flavours, vivid acidity and an energetic finish.”

“100 POINTS. A perfect, aged blanc de blancs with superb aromas of chalk, pie crust, limes and green apples with buttered popcorn, jasmine and hints of green tobacco. 2014 Charles Heidsieck Blanc des Millénaires
Kristaps Karklins, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, September 2025
“Sourced from Vertus, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant, the 2014 Blanc de Blancs Blanc des Millénaires—only the eighth release of this cuvée—was disgorged in 2023 with a dosage of 10 grams per liter. Unfurling with aromas of candied lemon zest, ripe pear, fresh hazelnut and peach, accented by a delicate roasted nuance, it is medium- to full-bodied, elegantly muscular and textural, with a rich fruit core, ripe yet lively acidity and ample chalky extract—more pronounced than in the 2007 rendition. Combining amplitude with freshness, it has turned out beautifully, though true complexity will demand several more years in the cellar.”

Charles Heidsieck Champagne Charlie
Kristaps Karklins, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, September 2025
“The first release of Champagne Charlie since its recreation, the NV Champagne Charlie Cellared in 2017 is based on the 2016 vintage (the youngest vintage remains the “base” of a tirage, even if it doesn’t represent the majority of the blend) and incorporates 75% reserve wines—the principal components being 2009 Oger and 2010 Aÿ and Tauxières. Disgorged in 2023 with a dosage of seven grams per liter, it bursts with aromas of candied lemon, pear, peach and brioche with a hint of praline. On the palate, it is full-bodied, broad-shouldered and textural, with a rich fruit core, lively acidity and a long, enveloping finish. The blend is almost equally divided between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.”

2018 Charles Heidsieck Brut Millésimé
Kristaps Karklins, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, September 2025
“In the context of so extreme a vintage, Charles Heidsieck’s 2018 Brut Millésimé is a wine of considerable success. Disgorged in May 2024 with a dosage of eight grams per liter, it soars from the glass with aromas of pomelo, pear and lemon confit, mingling with brioche and jasmine, framed by a deft touch of smoky reduction. On the palate, it is full-bodied and enveloping, with a fleshy and charming fruit core, enlivened by ripe but vibrant acidity and a pillowy mousse, concluding with a toasty, saline-tinged finish. Flamboyant and immediately seductive, it promises a broad window of enjoyment. The blend consists of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay.”

2018 Charles Heidsieck Rosé Millésimé
Kristaps Karklins, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, September 2025
“Disgorged in May 2024 with a dosage of nine grams per liter, Charles Heidsieck’s 2018 Rosé Millésimé—a blend of 41% Chardonnay and 59% Pinot Noir, including 9% red wine from Bouzy—has turned out superbly. Rosé often thrives in warmer vintages, and this Champagne exemplifies that tendency. It reveals a complex bouquet of orange marmalade, blackberry and wild strawberry, mingling with pink grapefruit, violet, cherry and wheat toast. On the palate, it is full-bodied, fleshy and layered, with a generous fruit core supported by succulent yet lively acidity and concluding with a perfumed, subtly phenolic finish. Harmonious and seductive, it avoids veering into jammy or exotic excess.”

Charles Heidsieck Blanc de Blancs
Kristaps Karklins, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, September 2025
“Produced on the foundation of the 2020 harvest and complemented by 30% reserve wines, Charles Heidsieck’s NV Blanc de Blancs (laid in chalk cellars in 2021) was disgorged at the end of 2023 with a dosage of nine grams per liter. The blend draws fruit from the Montagne de Reims and Montgueux (as base wines), the Sézannais and Côte des Blancs and incorporates 10% to 15% barrel-fermented components. The nose evokes nashi pear, candied lemon peel and peach, mingling with pastry, rosemary oil and subtle roasted nuances. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, ample and textural, with a charming fruit core enlivened by bright acidity and carried to a chalk-inflected finish. As demonstrated by its earlier renditions, this cuvée is poised to gain further complexity with a few additional years of post-disgorgement maturation.”

Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve
Kristaps Karklins, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, September 2025
“Based on the 2019 vintage and enriched by 50% reserve wines—stored in steel tanks and incorporating some 100 individual wines, averaging a decade in age—Charles Heidsieck’s NV Brut Réserve opens with aromas of candied lemon peel, ripe pear and pineapple mingling with buttered toast and a hint of burnt sugar. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, charming and textural, with a sweet and fleshy fruit core, succulent yet vibrant acidity and a persistent, toasty finish. Disgorged in 2024 with a dosage of nine grams per liter, after nearly four years aging sur lattes, it represents another strong rendition of this reliable cuvée.”

2019 Colomé Altura Máxima Malbec
Matthew Luczy, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, May 2025
“Sourced from vines just 10 years old, planted at 3,111 meters in altitude and aged for 18 months in neutral barrique, the 2019 Altura Máxima Malbec opens with a beautifully intense, inky, herbal and coiled nose. The palate echoes with an incredibly dense, compact, concentrated mouthfeel with a bracing core buttressed with pure mineral tension. It concludes with a long, layered and subtly woody finish that lingers with additional mineral-driven nuances and balsamic flourishes. This is a superb expression from one of the highest-elevation vineyards on the planet.”

2019 Colomé Altura Máxima Malbec
Virginie Boone, Jeb Dunnuck, May 2025
“Aged already in bottle for several years, the 2019 Malbec Altura Maxima is hitting its peak, perfumed in dark fruit and leather, with a gravelly texture. Dried fruit and dried herb accent a full-bodied, concentrated, and dense palate of high acidity and moderate length.”

2019 Colomé Altura Máxima Malbec
Jesica Vargas, Wine Enthusiast, July 2025
“A powerful Malbec from a vineyard at 10,200 feet in the Calchaqui Valley. The extreme climate conditions leave their mark on the intense character of this ripe red. Aromas of bell pepper, strawberry jam and sandalwood. Toasted oak flavors invade the structured and savory palate, followed by red berries and mint. This is ready to drink now but will benefit from a few more years in the cellar. Drink-2035. ”

2023 Amalaya Malbec
Joaquín Hidalgo, Vinous, May 2025
“The 2023 Malbec Amalaya, sourced from Cafayate in the Calchaquí Valleys, was 25% aged in oak. Vibrant purple hues, ripe aromas and a delicate touch of spice introduce the intense, broad and juicy palate with a black-fruit finish. Its northern character is evident in its rich ripeness.”

2023 Colomé Auténtico Malbec
Joaquín Hidalgo, Vinous, May 2025
“The 2023 Malbec Auténtico comes from Estancia Colomé and is crafted in a primary, unoaked style. Intense purple, its aromas reveal blackberry, a hint of chili pepper and a sharp balsamic touch with notable intensity and slight reduction. Indulgent and broad with plush textures and fine tannins, it offers pure flavors and remarkable palate intensity. The northern sun has made this long, powerful and full of flavor.”
