"Black raspberries, peppery herbs, violets, and smoky nuances all emerge from the 2022 Crozes-Hermitage Sicamor, a ripe, beautifully textured, medium to full-bodied Crozes. Mostly destemmed and aged in demi-muids, it's going to have 7-8 years of longevity. Drink 2025-2033."

"Matured in a combination of 60% 228-liter barrels (15% of which are new), 20% large barrels and 20% in 1,200-liter foudres, the 2022 Crozes-Hermitage Sicamor reveals a bright, gourmand bouquet of dark cherries, lilacs and flowers mingled with gentle notes of iris. Moderately weighted and juicy on entry, it's round and supple with a peppery mid-palate and a firm, slightly oaky finish. Despite its introverted character, it is well-crafted, and there is no need to wait to enjoy it."

"“Black pepper on the nose with raw meat and elderberry undertones. A fundamentally firm wine that is only medium-bodied, but makes a very bold statement and has excellent potential for long aging. Radically dark and exciting finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2027.”"

"A blend of several estate vineyards adjoining Hermitage, the 2020 Crozes-Hermitage Sicamor includes fruit from Varonnières (west of les Bessards), les Chassis and one other parcel. Pencil shavings accent intense boysenberry, mulberry and black cherry fruit on the nose, while the palate is full-bodied, rich, even lush, with hints of licorice on the long, silky finish."

"The slightly floral 2021 Crozes-Hermitage Sicamor also offers up notes of crushed stone, cherries and raspberries. Medium-bodied and lithe on the palate, this pretty effort is elegantly framed by fine-grained, silky tannins and a long, lingering finish. Drink it young."

"An ample and well-rounded Crozes-Hermitage with notes of dark cherries, mixed berries, dried herbs, smoke and black pepper. Medium body with great volume and control. Crisp and bright. Very low alcohol at 12.5% yet it has character and poise. It has some inky character on the palate and a succulent finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink or hold."

"Frankly ripe and direct, with a tasty blast of dark cherry and plum compote flavors scored with notes of tar and anise on the velvety finish. The hint of violets in the background adds range too. Will have lots of fans for the expressive fruit. Drink now through 2028"

"Deep, dark and meaty nose with delicate black-pepper and smoked-bacon notes. Rich and elegant with plenty of fine tannin, this is already delicious, but has excellent aging potential. Long, polished finish with smoke and mineral notes. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink or hold."

"The cedar, vanilla and wood spice-scented 2019 Crozes-Hermitage Sicamor backs those notes with copious black cherries and blackberries. A blend of three different terroirs (granite, puddingstone and argille-galets), it's full-bodied, concentrated and richly tannic, with a long, velvety finish. Purists will say it's oaky and a bit generic, but quibbles aside, it's a tasty glass of wine for drinking over the rest of this decade."
