Decanter World Wine Awards: Colomé 1831 Awarded a Platinum Medal and 97 Points

The Decanter World Wine Awards has placed Colomé 1831 Malbec among the best wines in the world by awarding it a Platinum medal and 97 points. When great teamwork and passion for the land and crafting high-altitude wines combine, excellence is achieved.

Colomé 1831 Malbec is made solely from grapes cultivated from our ancestral Colomé vineyard that sits at 2,300 meters above sea level. The vines grown here are more than 150 years old and yield a balanced, concentrated, and elegant grape.

Having been in operation for over 190 years, we here at Bodega Colomé are experts in making wines at extreme heights in the Upper Calchaquí Valleys.
