Growing up with wine-loving parents, it is perhaps no surprise that I chose a career with wine. After graduating with an English degree from Hobart College, in the heart of the Finger Lakes wine region, I chased the dream of being on-air radio star. Of course, that pursuit did not work out and I soon followed my passion for wine. After working for wholesale distributors for over twenty years, I was thrilled to join Folio in 2024. An important part of my career has been education, and I obtained a WSET Diploma in Wines. I am also a certified as a French Wine Scholar and Italian Wine Scholar. As a WSET Certified Educator, I enjoy teaching others their curriculum.

One of the benefits of working in the wine trade is travel and I have been fortunate to have wine adventures in Austria, France, Italy, Spain, and the United States. Still an English major at heart, I enjoy writing about wine and have been published in The Art of Eating Magazine. When I am not thinking about fermented grape juice, I spend time in New Jersey with my wife and three children, often racing around to athletic events.
