My entry into the wine world was born out of a confluence of hospitality, a love for travel, and education in culture and history. My international studies degree in college made me develop a keen interest in what brought different cultures together. Food and wine seemed to do that, and perhaps not by happenstance, I was drawn to the restaurant industry in Chicago. Holding various management and sommelier roles, I developed my knowledge with top hospitality professionals who made me want to continue my professional career in the world of wine. Upon moving to Los Angeles, I transitioned to the sales side of the business, working for Republic National Distributing Company as a Wine Manager, Educator, and Import Specialist. I was lucky enough to work with Folio Fine Wines in my roles and am delighted to be joining the team, adding to their success. When I am not testing my wine skills, you can probably find me hiking, hanging by the ocean, cooking, and gearing myself up to enter a foot race of some sort!
