Tasting Notes

Deep ruby color. Intense and complex nose where the typical aromas of each variety are nicely combined to show their best expression: blackberries coming from Malbec, freshly crushed cherries from the Cabernet Sauvignon, ripe black fruits from the Tannat, bell pepper from the Cabernet Franc, and truffles from Merlot.

BBQ chicken, grilled sausage, smoked cheeses.

Max. temp. 28º-30ºC. 15-20 days maceration. Aged for 8 months in French oak, 20% new and 80% second-use.

Blend is 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Malbec, 20% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Tannat. Alcohol 14%; acidity 5.3 g/L.

Grapes grown in the Uco Valley at an average elevation of 1,050 m.

Deep ruby color with bluish hues. Intense and complex nose where the typical aromas of each variety are nicely combined to show their best expression: black plums coming from Malbec, fresh cherries and black currant from Cabernet Sauvignon, ripe black fruits from Tannat, and spicy notes from Petit Verdot. Finishes with smooth tannins and good length.
