Ogier Lirac Blanc Lou Caminé

Sheltered and quiet, the Lirac grows out of beaten tracks of "Caminé" in Provencal language.  Since the Middle Ages, a great wines borns from its red terraces of rolled pebbles.  Its red fruits and scrubland aromas give a special power, roundness and minerality.

Tasting Notes

The 2018 Lirac Lou Caminé Blanc shows crisp citrus and lemon aromas and has a medium body, nicely integrated acidity, and a clean finish.  It's a high-quality, beautifully textured white wine that has nice weight and concentration while being very pleasant to drink.  Drinks best up to three years from purchasing.

Direct pressing and clarification at 48˚F.  Fermentation between 62 and 68˚F. 20% is vinified and aged in demi-muids (600L oak barrels) until February.

13% Alc/Vol.

SOIL:
Red terraces with pebbles, loess and safres.
