Tasting Notes
Beautiful deep ruby color with garnet reflections. The nose is frank and concentrated, with notes of black fruits (cherries) on a slightly smoky and spicy (black pepper) background. The attack is fresh, the body strong and opulent, with tannins but coated. Nice length in the mouth on a slightly vegetal finish.
Food Pairings
It will enhance the rich and concentrated dishes: hare stew, rooster with wine, and cheeses of character : Chambertin, Epoisses, Livarot, etc.
Winemaking Notes
Cold maceration. Fermentation using natural yeasts in vat taking place over 3 weeks. Aging in barrels (30% new) for 14 months.

Vineyard Notes
At the North of the Côte de Beaune, the Mountain of Corton brings the villages of Aloxe-Corton, Pernand-Vergelesses and Ladoix-Serrigny. The vineyard ranges between 250 and 330 meters above sea level, forming an amphitheater without any other example in the Côte. The Corton Grand Cru is mainly red in 90 ha and can bear the name of its climate, numbering 25, such as Les Perrieres, Les Combes, Clos des Meix, Bressandes, Le Rognet, Les Renardes, Le Clos du King, ... Our House has 0.33 ha of this appellation.
Tasting Notes
Beautiful deep ruby color with garnet reflections. On the nose, concentrated notes of dark cherries with a hint of smoke and black pepper. Fresh yet opulent, the body is full with well-rounded tannins and a lengthy finish.

At the North of the Côte de Beaune, the Mountain of Corton brings together the villages of Aloxe-Corton, Pernand-Vergelesses, and Ladoix-Serrigny. The vineyard ranges between 820 to 1,000 feet above sea level and forms an amphitheater unlike any other example in the Côte. This vineyard plot, or climat, with its own distinct terroir bears name, Corton Grand Cru, and shares the mountain alongside other distinctive climats.
