Tasting Notes

Beautiful dark garnet ruby colour with hints of purple. Good aromatic intensity, with notes of cherries in alcohol. On the palate, a good consistency with round and well-coated tannins.

It also goes very well with roasted meats or with poultry, such as stuffed quail, roasted duck, or fatty cheeses such as Chaource, Brillat Savarin.

Blend of Domaine Champy grapes from “Champimonts” (0.6 Ha) and “Aux Cras” (0.4 Ha).  Aged in 30% new barrels.
