Prosecco is a popular sparkling wine produced in the Veneto region of Italy. Per DOCG regulations, all Prosecco must be made with a minimum of 85% Glera, a grape native to the region.

While some Proseccos are made using the traditional sparkling method, with a second fermentation happening in the bottle, the Charmat method is most common, with a second fermentation taking place in large, stainless steel tanks.
