Vincent Trapozzano

Regional Sales Director, Northeast Region and Partner

I grew up in the south New Jersey town of Point Pleasant. While attending the College of Charleston in South Carolina, I studied Anthropology, but spent my summers working in kitchens in Italian restaurants. I learned the important marriage of food and wine during this time and my developing passion for wine took me to the front of the house. The first time I had Emidio Pepe Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, I knew my career should be in the wine business.

When I returned to New Jersey, I spent two years in the financial industry before becoming the wine director at a wine bar on a beach in NJ. I had the opportunity to join the Charmer Sunbelt group in 2011 and I spent over three years working key accounts in the on premise. Working for a distributor gave me the chance to travel to Champagne, Oregon, work crush in Napa Valley, and meet many interesting and knowledgeable people.

I am thrilled to have joined Folio in April 2015 as the NJ Area Sales Manager and have the ability to focus my career selling some the best wines from the best quality people in the industry.

In my free time, I love cooking, English soccer, Heavy Metal, the beach, and a good cigar.
