Director of National Accounts, Off-Premise
I found my way into the wine business in 1992 after graduation from college and with no real idea what I wanted to do in my career. My dad and some of his business friends told me “either go back to school or go try to sell something. Either you will have ‘it’ or you won’t”. Curious what they meant by that and with frankly no desire to spend any more time in a classroom, I took a job with the E&J Gallo Winery. 28 years later—after a stint in Europe for Gallo, working for the Trinchero and then Robert Mondavi families, launching FOLIO Fine Wine Partners, starting my own Washington winery, and now back working with FOLIO—I guess I realize how much I love this business. A marriage of agriculture, creativity, marketing, and business, there is no more interesting, complex, or competitive an industry.
Having left FOLIO in 2014 to realize a few personal goals, I am thrilled to be back in the fold, working with Michael and the team, to hopefully add some new perspective, and to continue to be bold and intentional, words that drive my decision making every day.
