Taylor Case, National Sales ManagerMy wine career began in 1995 when I joined Norwood’s Seafood in New Smyrna Beach. After growing up in a dry county in Georgia, I suddenly found myself surrounded by a 1000 bottle wine list. My curiosity was sparked, and I was lucky to be mentored by the GM/Sommelier that nurtured my interest. My passion for wine continued to grow, and as a college student at Florida State, I joined the team opening North Florida’s first Premier Wine Bar and Restaurant, Café Cabernet, home to a 600-bottle wine list. After graduating, rather than following my film degree to Los Angeles, I traveled to Europe, immersed myself in wine culture, and dug my hands deep into the soil of a vineyard in Burgundy. That was it! My heart was lost, and I haven’t looked back since.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of learning from incredible industry mentors, hosted countless trips to premier wine destinations around the world, and taken on challenging brand development and sales roles with Breakthru Beverage, Vineyard Brands, and Wilson Daniels. While it ultimately fell prey to the COVID-19, in 2020, I also co-founded an import company representing a portfolio of premium family-owned wine estates.

An adventure seeker to my core, I earned my pilot’s license before I was old enough to drive, and enjoy traveling to exciting destinations all around the globe to taste new wines, kitesurf, and experience diverse cultures with my wife, Migdalia. We’ve visited more than 50 countries and look forward to exploring many more! My appreciation for all things wine related has inspired more than 20 years of devotion to doing what I love – finding new ways to share wine culture with the world, and I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of Folio’s innovative team.
