Leda lies just outside the western limits of the D.O. Ribera del Duero in central Spain. The grapes are grown in the broad Duero River Valley that runs through Castilla y León. This valley's continental climate, with cool temperatures and high elevation bring long, dry growing conditions that preserve acidity and concentrated flavors. Soil variation is extreme; each vineyard plot lends its own unique characteristics to these very special wines.
