- 2006 Spellbound Cabernet Sauvignon was recommended in Desert Living, a lifestyle magazine from Phoenix. There is a nice bottle shot of Spellbound with the following review:

- 2003 Spellbound Petite Sirah recommended in the Washington Post. (August 2006)
- Spellbound Chardonnay is recommended by Steven Raichlen in the Food & Wine Magazine. (June 2006)

- At the Atlanta High Museum of Art (“Oscars of Wine”) event, the Spellbound 2002 Petite Sirah was picked as Best Red Wine under $15. (2006)
- Spellbound wines were focused on as a Wine to Watch in the Midwest Wine Connection, with the praise, “The wines are distinctly California and are very good! They are full bodied and full of life!” The Spellbound 2002 Petite Sirah was given four grapes and described as, “Wonderfully inviting nose of blackberry fruit. Sturdy flavors and a spicy finish.” (2006)
