Piper-Heidsieck Vintage 2014 is an elegant, radiant and intense vintage. Its nose delivers notes of orange blossom, apricot, brioche and toasted almond. The palate unveils flavours of tangerine, lime zest and liquorice.

Enjoy with canapés, crab, shellfish, crayfish, creamed celery, slivers of fresh melon, brunoise of coppa.

Following clement weather in early 2014, an early spring flaunted gorgeous flowering. After particularly cool and humid weather at the beginning of summer, the sun reappeared in mid-August for an Indian summer that lasted until September. The 2014 vintage boasts Chardonnays with sensational crispness and fruity, sophisticated Pinots Noirs.

The Piper-Heidsieck Vintage 2012 immediately delights the palate with its luminous personality. It offers stellar freshness, crisp aromas and the pronounced fruity nuances of Pinot Noir. While ageing will let it fully express its plush summery temperament, the 2012 vintage already promises both a vibrant and a precise tasty experience.

Tasting Notes

Golden in color, with crystalline bubbles.  On the nose, fresh citrus notes of lime or tangerine leaves, with warm, smoked notes. A touch of almond then offers a voluptuous, vivid vibrancy.  On the palate, notes of pomegranate and almond open with the expression of a plush texture of smoked tea or freshly harvested honey, and the juice of ripe black cherry and blueberries. The long, silky finish is perfect both as a prelude or the accompaniment to a gourmet meal.

  • 48% Chardonnay
  • 52% Pinot Noir
  • Dosage:  10 g/l

The generous 2008 Vintage Brut offers an outstanding take on the traditional balance between subtly ripened Chardonnay and Pinot Noirs, from 20 crus.  Unique in character, this wine is refined by extended aging.

Tasting Notes

Elegant, light and velvety soft.  Notes of succulent peach and greengage, entwined with floral notes of cherry and hawthorn blossom, and a saltiness accentuated by notes of peppery spices and plums.

  • 48% Pinot Noir
  • 52% Chardonnay
  • Dosage: 9.5 g/l

"Showing nicely complex notes of figs, red apples, golden pears, walnuts and lemon conserve on toast, with a touch of beeswax. It’s medium-bodied, with bright acidity and a textured, phenolic palate. Tight bubbles. Dry feel. 55% pinot and 45% chardonnay. 7g/L dosage. Delicious now."

"The 2014 Brut Vintage, a blend of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay with a dosage of seven grams per liter, has turned out nicely with aromas of pear, peach, almonds and smoky hints. Medium to full-bodied, supple and fruity with a delicate mousse, this is a structured, tension-filled but airborne Champagne with high acidity, the sign of a cool weather vintage. Although already thoroughly enjoyable, it should age well over the next five years. Drinking window: 2023-2030."

"A seamless Champagne, finely textured and showing a creamy viscosity on the palate. This vibrant version winds a subtle, toasty thread of brioche and roasted almond through flavors of black currant, dried apricot and candied lemon peel. Mouthwatering and lightly chalky on the finish. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Drink now through 2029."

A lovely streak of spicy minerality drives the long finish. Drink now through 2027. 8,000 cases made, 1,000 cases imported."

"Unfurling in the glass with incipiently complex aromas of citrus oil, wheat toast, fresh peach and crisp orchard fruit, the newly released 2012 Vintage Brut is full-bodied, deep and tightly wound, with excellent concentration, racy acids and a fine mousse, concluding with a long and penetrating finish. Even though it's still a little reserved after its recent disgorgement,"
