The Folio Italian portfolio dominated the latest Italian wine report from critic James Suckling – “Get Ready: The Super Italians Are Coming.”

In his extensive tasting report, wines from producers Bruno Giacosa, Ricasoli, and Bibi Graetz all ranked between 98 and 100 points, with Bruno Giacosa’s flagship 2015 Falletto Barolo Vigna le Rocche securing the #1 spot with a perfect 100 point score.

Of the flawless Barolo from Bruno Giacosa, Suckling stated:

“I am lost for words with this wine. Perfumed and so elegant with the most exquisite aromas of roses, plums and earth. Yet always subtle and complex. Full body and ultra fine, firm tannins. Fantastic finish that lasts for minutes. Try in 2026.”
