A Family Wine Company

Since 2004, Folio Fine Wine Partners has become one of the industry's most highly regarded wine purveyors. Our mission is to establish long-term relationships with great family wine producers from the world's most exciting regions to bring quality wines to American consumers.

Today, we are fortunate to work with esteemed winemaking families. In Italy, we have the privilege to work with many great families, including the Frescobaldis who have more than 700 years of winemaking history in Tuscany. We are proud to represent their Marchesi de' Frescobaldi, Tenuta dell' Ornellaia, Luce della Vite and Castelgiocondo brands. In Sicily, we have the honor to work with the Rallo family, whose Donnafugata wines have helped elevate the status of that region. In Umbria, we work with Marco Caprai who runs his family's Arnaldo Caprai wine estate. Arnaldo Caprai has been credited with the revival of the region's native Sagrantino grape. In the northern part of the country, we work with several notable families: the Moretti Polegato family who produce exceptional Prosecco under the Villa Sandi label; the Boscaini family of Masi Agricola, leading producers of Amarone; and HASTAE, a consortium of top producers in Piedmont who produce an ultra premium Barbera d'Asti called Quorum.

We are also privileged to work with leading family producers all over Spain. We have the honor to represent Alvaro Palacios' Rioja wines, Palacios Remondo. In Priorat, we represent family wineries such as Vall Llach, a partnership between two longtime friends, Luis Llach and Enrique Costa. The Perez family of Cims de Porrera and the Capafons family of Capafons-Osso are also early pioneers of the region. Meritxell Palleja, the winemaker for Nita, is the third generation of her family to have been raised in Priorat. In Ribera del Duero, we have a relationship with the Comenge family, who produce Tempranillo under the Comenge label. Folio represents two brands owned by the Masaveu family; Bodegas Fillaboa in Rias Baixas and Bodegas Leda, where famed winemaker Mariano Garcia is producing Tempranillo in Spain's Tierra de Castilla y Leon region.

Further north in Europe, Folio imports Gruner Veltliner produced by fifth-generation Austrian winemaker, Lenz Moser, under his Laurenz V. label, and Riesling from Germany's Prinz von Hessen estate. The Prince of Hesse dynasty is one of the oldest aristocratic families in Europe dating back 800 years with ties to most of Europe's royal families.

In recent years, we've ventured into Argentina with Nandu, a Malbec by Bernard Portet, who made his mark as a Napa Valley winemaking pioneer with Clos du Val. We also import Masi Tupungato, Masi's Argentina brand that is produced from grapes grown in the Uco Valley, which is widely considered to be one of Mendoza's top subappellations.

Our carefully selected domestic portfolio includes quality wines from Napa Valley and Sonoma County produced by the Michael Mondavi family, including M by Michael Mondavi, Emblem and Isabel Mondavi wines. Folio also represents the Spellbound and Medusa wines that are produced by Rob Mondavi, his wife Lydia, and partners. Our portfolio also includes the Folio-owned Oberon and Hangtime brands which are made by Tony Coltrin, winemaker and long-time Mondavi friend.

Folio Fine Wine Partners is delighted to present a truly diverse portfolio of exquisite wines. We encourage you to discover what makes each of these wines so extraordinary, and to share them with your friends, family and colleagues.

From our family to yours--Salute!
