When I moved to New York City I immersed myself into the food and wine culture and haven't looked back since. After a few years of exploring different paths, I found myself in a wine class that changed the course of my life. It was at this point that I decided to dedicate myself to all things wine. I attended tastings, studied at the American Sommelier Association and the Wine & Spirits Education Trust, created my own women's blind tasting group and surrounded myself with like minded people. During this time I quickly worked my way up in the restaurant business to becoming a sommelier and wine director. This is where my education really began to take shape as I was afforded the luxury to taste wines from around the world on a daily basis, and the opportunity to travel to different wine regions. Eventually my desire to learn more about the business led me into wine sales. I held positions as a sales representative for a boutique Italian wine portfolio, SoilAir Selection, and as a wine consultant for Empire Merchants. Now it is a dream come true to represent a portfolio I had long admired here at Folio Fine Wine Partners. I am surrounded by such a devoted and creative team that shares the same philosophies on wine and family as I do.
