Five Generations – With 900 years of tradition & innovative spirit, Laurenz V. represents five generations of winemaking experience by the Laurenz Moser family. Established as a pioneer winemaking family, it was legendary Professor Dr. Lorenz Moser III who earned international fame for his invention of ubiquitous Austrian trellising system, which revolutionized vineyard cultivation right across Europe, and put Grüner Veltliner on the map.

Strictly Grüner - Laurenz V. was created for white wine lovers everywhere. The winery focuses on a single wine variety—GrünerVeltliner — that has long been a favorite in its native Austria, where it represents nearly a third of the country's wine grape production. Grüner Veltliner is a wonderful balanced white wine with the floral perfume of German Riesling, the refreshing zip of Loire Sauvignon Blanc and the lusciousness of a Northern Italian Pinot Grigio, all in great harmony.

Sheer Drinking Pleasure – Laurenz V. is a modern (international) style of Grüner Veltliner with subtle spice and elegant acidity. It is vibrant and playful on the palate and flattering on the finish. In other words, Laurenz V. did not create a Veltliner of extremes, but of elegance and charm.
The wine comes from the Kamptal and Kremstal areas of lower Austria where the warmth of the Danube Valley meets the cool air of the Weinviertel region. This combination develops the fresh, fruity flavors in grapes while maintaining excellent acidity. The winery makes Laurenz V. Charming Grüner Veltliner from Kamptal, and Laurenz und Sophie Singing Grüner Veltliner, a wine inspired by Laurenz' daughter Sophie, primarily from Kremstal.
