Dina Mondavi Biography
Founder and Director
Dina Mondavi co-founded Folio Fine Wine Partners in 2004 with her parents, Michael and Isabel Mondavi, and her brother, Rob. With her family and as a co-owner she is responsible for directing the organization. She travels frequently to underperforming markets in an effort to support our sales team in achieving their business goals. Dina travels to Asia to explore and open potential growth opportunities for the family/company. In addition to her role, she is actively involved with the family's philanthropic efforts, which are heavily focused on giving back to the Napa Valley community that has supported the Mondavi family for three generations. The family likes to support basic needs, like food, housing, supporting families in need, and veterans in need.
In 2006 the family purchased a wine making facility in southern Carneros, now called the Michael Mondavi Family Estate. Dina played a key role in setting up the facility to welcome guests in a warm wine country way.
Previously, Dina served as the brand manager for the family's Isabel Mondavi Wines label, which was launched in 2005. Dina was responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day management of the brand, including all sales and marketing decisions. Dina is part of the tasting panel to make final blends for M by Michael Mondavi, Isabel Mondavi Wines, Emblem and Oberon.
Prior to establishing Folio Fine Wine Partners with her family in 2004, she worked as an account manager for Southern Wine & Spirits based in San Francisco. Dina began her wine career as a wine educator at Robert Mondavi. Previously, she worked at the DeYoung and the Legion of Honor Museums.
