- The estate lies in the heart of the esteemed Chianti Rúfina area, located northeast of Florence and considered the highest quality Chianti area, along with Chianti Classico.
- The soil is rich in clay and limestone and, together with a warm, dry climate, creates the ideal growing area for the production of wines that are elegant and balanced.
- A blend of primarily Sangiovese (90%) with other native Tuscan varieties (10%), Nipozzano is aged for 2 years in French oak barrels for added complexity.
Aromatics show great finesse and complexity, opening to dark fruit of plum and black currant, then enriched by a pungent spiciness of cinnamon and clove.
